RIG CHURCH
PURPOSE
Get to Know Us
RIG stands for Restoring Issachar’s Generation. Issachar was the tribe who, in 1 Chronicles 12:32, knew times and seasons and knew what Israel ought to do. Because of this prophetic grace endowed upon this tribe to know times and seasons coupled with the apostolic grace of knowing what to do, this tribe became the commanding tribe within Israel. RIG church exists to restore this tribe within the church. We believe in the necessity of the fivefold ministry of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher, but that without the Apostolic and Prophetic ministry gifts, then the church has no influence and therefore no command.
The Lord said to Tomi Arayomi “raise and gather to Me 7,000 reserves in every Nation who have not bowed their knee to Baal nor kissed him.”
Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
1 Kings 19:18
The 7,000 is a symbolic number that has spearheaded the vision of RIG church around the world from its post 2020 pandemic era. This number represents a generation that refuses to yield to the whims of decadent society, that rejects the assignment of Jezebel around the world and that does not let its words be twisted by Baal and its fetish assignment to turn the church away from holiness and true prophecy. The 7,000 refuses to be silent and refuses to be intimidated by Jezebel’s sorcery. The 7,000 cannot be bought: not by their job, charity number, political party, peer pressure, unclean spirits, familial ties. These hold fast to the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the Spirit of Prophecy and will let no other testimony enter their mouths even to the death.
OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT
RIG Church is a local church with a global impact. Our mission is simple: Believe, Belong, Build: To turn 7,000 believers into 7,000 belongers and ultimately into 7,000 builders.
