You Were Made to Occupy: Salt. Light. Witness.

In the final part of our “Go Higher” Series, we were reminded that going higher isn’t just a catchphrase—it’s a calling. God isn’t just asking us to elevate spiritually; He’s inviting us to take territory, live boldly, and reflect His glory in every space we step into.

We started with Matthew 5:13–16, where Jesus says we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Salt influences. Light reveals. And both must be seen and felt to make a difference. Apostle John challenged us to examine our lives: Is your faith visible? Are you living in such a way that people see the goodness of God through you?

Then we moved to Luke 19:13—“Occupy until I come.” This isn’t just a nice suggestion; it’s a mandate. We’re called to engage culture, dominate in our industries, and steward what God gave us with excellence. Whether it's your business, your workplace, your school, or your family—you’ve been given ground to take. Don’t shrink back. Advance.

Finally, we were commissioned to be witnesses (Acts 1:8). Not just spectators or churchgoers—but living, breathing testimonies of God’s grace and power. A witness has firsthand experience of Jesus. And if you’ve encountered Him, your life should say so.

This is the season to go higher, yes—but not just for your benefit. It’s time to be seen, to be heard, and to point others to the King.

Let’s be salt. Let’s shine light. Let’s take territory. Let’s be bold witnesses.

Because the world is watching—and the Kingdom is calling.
